Telecom holds companies responsible for drilling-caused damage

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The General Company for Telecommunications & Post on Sunday warned public and private sector companies that they would afford repair works for damage resulting from drilling works in the different projects. “An authorized source has sent notifications for companies to refer to the telecom company in Baghdad and other provinces to coordinate in this respect to avoid causing any damage resulting from drilling works,” according to a release by the cabinet’s National Information Center as received by IraqiNews.com. “The companies would be provided with the maps indicating networks of telephone exchanges,” the release read.
