Urgent – .8 civilians killed, injured in Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Eight civilians were killed due to an explosion of a car bomb that targeted a funeral in Babel province.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “A car bomb parked in a garage for Iskan Hospital in Iskandariya district went off targeting a funeral ceremony, killing two persons and injuring six others.”

The source concluded “A security force blocked the explosion area and transferred the injured people to a hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the morgue.”
