FP clash with gunmen in Samara

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two gunmen were killed while three Iraqi Federal Policemen were injured due to armed clashes in Samara city of southern Tikrit on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The gunmen opened fire attacking the IFP patrol,” noting that “The IFPs responded to the attack, killing two gunmen.”

The source added that “The clashes resulted in injuring three IFPs.”

“The security forces blocked the attack area and transferred the bodies to the morgue while the injured IFPs were sent to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
