Baghdad PC’s members boycott regular session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An official within Baghdad Provincial Council revealed that “The majority of Baghdad PC’s members of the State of Law Coalition boycotted the Council’s session because of the attendance of the Council’s Chairman and his Deputy.”

The source stated to IraqiNews.com “Most of the PC’s member of the SLC boycotted the session protesting the attendance of the Chairman and his Deputy for their belief that both figures are involved in financial and administrative corruption in the projects implemented by Baghdad Provincial Council.”

“Among (57) of Baghdad PC members, only (12) members have attended the session,” the source added.
