Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The office of the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, denied the reports that mentioned “Jaafary and the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, launched offensive statements against the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi.”

A statement by Jaafary’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “As we confirm that such reports are groundless, we assure that all the political figures are respected and have their social as well as political value.”

“All the reports and the statements related to Jaafary and his office must be taken from his special website,” the statement added.

“We call the media outlets to seek accuracy in getting and posting the news to avoid lies,” the statement concluded.

Earlier, a media outlet reported that “On the background of Allawi’s speech at the parliament, Maliki phoned Jaafary confirming that Allawi becomes expired and his Slate must replace him.”
