Batiekh condemns killing Mayah Chieftain in Wasit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, condemned “Killing the Chieftain of Mayah tribe, Mohamed Hilal Balasim, in Wassit province on last Wednesday.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We denounce this terrible act and we call the security forces to take the required actions to arrest the doers to present them to justice.”

“We warn from targeting the national figures and the Chieftains through the enemies’ plots that target the Iraqis,” he added.

Earlier, the Chieftain of Mayah Tribe, Mohamed Hilal al-Balasim, was found killed at his bed inside his house in al-Hay neighborhood of southern Kut of central Wassit on last Wednesday.
