Former member of Ba’ath party, member of IIS arrested in Thi Qar

Thi Qar (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested one of the members of, what is so called, the Iraqi Islamic State in Thi Qar province.

A Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A security force arrested, Muataz Mal Allah, who is a former member of Ba’ath party and joined IIS after 2003.”

“The detainee was arrested in al-Fajr district of northern Thi Qar, the source added, “the detainee was wanted according to a judicial warrant based on Article (4) of Anti Terrorism Law,” the source concluded.
