Ubaidi: Problems of services connected with political disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suhad al-Ubaidi, of the Services and Construction Parliamentary Committee assured that “Solving the problems related to the services is connected with settling the political disputes in addition to the improvement of the security file that is linked with the political reforms and fighting the corruption.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The security, political, services and economic files are interrelated with each other,” noting that “The services issue suffer from a dilatory performance especially the file of the electric power.”

“If we want to improve these files we must conduct the political reforms,” she added.

Several Iraqi provinces suffer from shortage of potable water, electric power and sewerage nets where some observers confirm that corruption is behind this shortage.
