Parliament holds session to discuss draft laws

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament will hold its regular session on Thursday to discuss a number of draft laws, including a bill to amend the parliament’s law number 50. “The agenda of the 24th open session includes the second reading of amending the parliament’s law bill number 50 with the Members Affairs Committee and the second reading of the school’s canteens draft law with the Education Committee,” the parliament said in a statement on its website. “The session will witness also the second reading of the draft law to amend the civil service law number 24 in 1960 with the Education Committee,” it added.
