Parliamentary Services Committee criticizes performance of services Ministries, PCs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Services Committee attributed “The lack of providing services in some regions to the administrative corruption practiced by the services Ministries and some of Provincial Councils.”

The Head of the Committee, Vian Dakhil, also MP of the Kurdistani Alliance, stated to IraqiNews.com “The services Ministries justify the lack of services to those disadvantaged districts to the inadequacy of the financial allocations.”

Dakhil indicated that “The sides responsible for providing the services are the Provincial Councils but unfortunately up till now most of the PCs do not practice their duties, rather they conduct corruption bargains through approving dubious deals.”

“The majority of the deprived regions are outside the cities and are part of the PCs’ responsibilities, on other hand, the concerned Ministries are unserious in following up the services projects,” she concluded.
