Urgent – .Allawi warns from consequences of Syrian regime’s change on Iraq, region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi warned from “The consequences of the change the Syrian regime, describing it as very serious on Iraq and the region, calling upon all the Iraqi politicians to stand against these consequences through strengthening the national cohesion among the Iraqi communities.”

Allawi said in a press conference held at the headquarter of the National Accord Movement and attended by IraqiNews.com correspondent “The changes happening in some regional countries resulted in expanding the impacts of those changes on the geographical coverage and started to affect the political situation in Iraq,” urging to “Maintain the national unity to face these challenges.”

“The security and services situations suffer continuous decline,” Allawi added, emphasizing that “The policy in Iraq heads towards the political sectarianism away from the democracy.”

It is worth mentioning that the National Accord Movement headed by Ayad Allawi has announced, on last Thursday, about holding Saturday meeting to discuss the recent movements of the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi, who is a leader within the IS, and to confer about the resignation of the Telecommunications Minister, Mohamed Allawi, and its approval by the Premier Nouri al-Maliki.
