Jumaili rules out solving current political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wihda al-Jumaili, of the Iraqiya Slate ruled out “Solving the current political crisis because it is going on in vicious circle.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The current crisis witnesses continuous actions and reactions among the blocs which have negatively reflected on the security situation and the services.”

“The crisis gets its effects on the services and the only affected side is the citizen,” she added.

“The supervisory role of the parliament is weak due to the political leaders’ control over its performance where so many law drafts are hurdled due to the political disputes,” she concluded.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
