Talabani to return to Iraq soon after getting complete recovery, says Agha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Hareem Kamal Agha, confirmed that “The President, Jalal Talabani, will return to the country within the next few days after getting a complete recovery.”

A statement by the PUK received by IraqiNews.com cited “Agha confirmed during a meeting for the cadres of the PUK in Nineveh province that he visited Germany to check on Talabani’s health,” noting that “He indicated that Talabani got the full recovery after undergoing the surgery for his knee.”

“The political process in Kurdistan Region and Iraq in addition to the effect of the international as well as regional events on it were discussed during the meeting,” the statement added.

“He emphasized the importance of the last PUK conference that was held by all its offices, calling to study its results,” the statement concluded.
