Jihad warns of assassinations’ impact in Diyala

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hassan Jihad the member of the Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee stated that ”The assassination operations which started to take place in Diyala province with usage of silenced weapons after being limited to Baghdad is very dangerous indicator on the deterioration of the security situation.”

Jihad added in statement to IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The security forces stick to their plans and they are performing their duty traditionally which encouraged the armed groups to implement many terrorist operations and assassinating many senior security leaders.”

The statement added that ”The assassination operations which are accomplished by silenced weapons have widely spread in Iraq recently,” noting that “The Ministry of Interior has recently revealed discovering factories to manufacture silenced weapons.”

Jihad attributed using of the silenced weapons in the assassination operations conducted in Diyala province for being close in location to Baghdad.

Many security breaches took place in Diyala province included explosions by car bombs and IEDs, and, recently the security figures started to suffer attacks by silenced weapons. \
