Security source: Khales explosion’s casualties reach 21 civilians

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The double explosion which took place in a market in Khales district resulted in killing and injuring 21 civilians.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com that ”The explosion of the two Improvised Explosive Devices which took place in Khales district resulted in killing one civilian and injuring 20 others.”

The source denied the reports that smentioned earlier that ”The explosions resulted in killing 25 civilians and injuring 15 others as initial count according to the statement of the Deputy Chairman of Diyala Provincial Council.”

The Deputy Chairman of Diyala Provincial Council, Sadeq al-Husseini, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that ”Two IEDs exploded on Wednesday evening in a market in Khales district and resulted in killing 25 civilians and injuring 15 others.”
