Fire breaks out in commercial shops in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Several commercial shops and stores have been damaged by fire in two separate incidents in Najaf province.

Media officer of Najaf Civil Defense Department, Ali Twyij, stated to IraqiNews.com “Fire broke out on Tuesday night in 24 out of 150 commercial shops specialized in selling food staff and domestic appliances which caused material damage to those shops without leaving human casualties,” noting that “Initial investigation refers that the fire was caused intentionally.”

“Another fire broke out at the stores of Golden Devices Company in Ghadeer district of central Najaf which caused medium material damage because the fire fighting brigade managed to control the fire quickly without casualties,” Twyij added, stressing that “Investigations continue to realize the sides and criminals behind these incidents.”
