Turkish company offers to invest in Karbala foot ball club

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) A Turkish company presented an investment offer to the chairmanship of Karbala football club represented by buying a piece of land that belongs to the Molls area in Karbala province.

The Head of Karbala Club, Mohamed al-Areji, emphasized in a statement to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”This is an invitation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to interfere to rescue the Club from the financial crisis and to pay the salaries of the players.”

He added that ”The administrative board of the club started looking for investment opportunities to cover the expenses of the club and save the club instead of depending on the allocations obtained from the ministry or the supporting sides.” \
