Major Officer, assassinated western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An officer with Major rank was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Sahaji village in western Mosul.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the officer who works in North Oil Fields security division near Sahaji village western Mosul while he was driving his car, shot him dead immediately and the managed to fles.”

“A security force cordoned off the incident place and launched a raid to search for the doers and transported the dead body to the morgue,” the source added.
