Drug trafficking gang arrested in Wasit

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) Security forces arrested a drug trafficking gang who possessed a large quantity of drugs in Wassit province.

Wassit Police Command, the Brigadier Hassan Abdul Hadi, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Police divisions arrested a gang of two drug dealers and seized more than 4000 narcotic pills and 180 bottle containing narcotic substances in their possession.”

“The security forces took the suspects to the Police center to complete the investigation procedures to be referred to the judiciary later on,” the Brigadier added.
