MoC discuss cooperation with Serbian companies.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Communications Undersecretary Amir Khidher al-Bayati discussed with the Serbian ambassador to Iraq, Radislav Petrov, means of promoting the cooperation between the two countries in the communications and information technology fields.

A statement by the Ministry of Communications quoted Bayati as saying that ”The Ministry of Communications has huge and very important projects to implement like optical cable [FTHH] and the expansion of cell phones licenses as well as many other projects.”

Bayati added that ”The Serbian companies can participate in the investment in Iraq through real attendance to be acquainted with the infrastructure of the projects to show their serious intentions to work in Iraq.”

He pointed out that ”The existence of the Serbian embassy in Iraq is an important indicator which refers to the Serbian desire to work and invest in Iraq.”

The Serbian Ambassador stressed that he will “work to provide all the necessary equipments which will gather between the Iraqi delegations and the Serbian companies in order to discuss the Serbian investment participation in Iraq.” \
