Nijaifi, Erdogan discuss mutual relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayib Erdogan, in Ankara the mutual relations and the consequences of the Syrian crisis.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited on Monday “Nijaifi met Erdogan in Ankara on Monday where they discussed the mutual relations and the means of developing them to serve the two countries.”

“During the meeting, Nijaifi assured the necessity of developing the mutual relations through the governments of the two countries,” the statement added.

“The two sides have also discussed the regional situation and the Syrian situation in particular,” the statement pointed out, noting that “The meeting lasted for two hours and went in a good atmosphere.”

“Nijaifi will meet on Monday night, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu on a dinner banquet,” the statement concluded.
