Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hamid Bafi, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated “The Kurds show concerns over the presence of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in his post due to his monopolizing the authority and marginalizing the other partners,” noting that “Investigating Maliki is not a difficult issue.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “These concerns resulted from what we have suffered from during the dictator’s period because the political system in Iraq is federal where the decision must be taken by all sides.”

“The political process is moving into a wrong direction and the government must be represented by all the Iraqis from the local governments and Kurdistan Region without neglecting their constitutional rights,” he added.

“The investigation process is possible to all the officials where each MP can gather the signatures of 25 MPs to investigate the PM and the Ministers,” he concluded.
