Karbala PC demands more authorities over contracting companies

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) Karbala Provincial Council demanded to grant the provinces authority of supervising the companies which implement projects on each province.

The Head of Karbala Provincial Council Muhammad al-Musawi stated to IraqiNews.com on Sunday that ”The Central Government should grant the authority of monitoring the companies which implement projects to the local governments because the local provincial governments suffered great losses due to referring the projects to the unprofessional ministries and companies.”

He added that ”Karbala is among the provinces which was deprived from taking advantage from giant projects like Khayrat electricity project and the Turkish Hospital which are very important projects which were hoped to be implemented in the province.” \
