Electricity Minister visits second Gas station in Hilla

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Electricity Minister, Karim Aftan, visited the project of the second Gas station in Hilla that is being performed by the International Hurra Company which includes performing two generating units in capacity of 125 Mega Watt.

The spokesperson of the Ministry, Musab al-Mudaris, stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Aftan has visited the project to be acquainted with the performance ratio, stating some points over the performance.”

“Aftan held a meeting with the project administration staff and the engineers in addition to the artistic staff of the Ministry that supervises the project, urging them to increase their efforts to perform the project as soon as possible,” he added.

“The experimental operation of the first generating unit may be done on Saturday,” he pointed out, assuring that “The artistic staff of the Oil Ministry has finished installing the Gas pipeline to the station.”
