Criminal gang identified in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The security committee within Najaf Provincial Council announced identifying the criminals who are responsible for stealing the modern vehicles in the province.

The Head of the Security Committee, Luai al-Yaseri, stated to IraqiNews.com on Saturday that ”The criminals were identified after meeting with the Director of the Anti-Crime Department and the availability of the intelligence information,” noting that “The criminals are accused of killing the owners of modern vehicles and stealing their vehicles.”

He added that ”The investigation is going on in this case, so we can neither announce the names of the criminals nor the sides responsible behind them but we will declare all the information during the next days.”

Najaf province witnessed increase in stealing modern vehicles and killing their owners as well as increase in the armed robbery operations on the houses of the province. \
