Kurdish MP expects soon voting on new board of Commissioners of IHEC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohsin al-Sa’doun of the Kurdistani Alliance confirmed that “Voting on the nine members of the board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission will be conducted During the next few days.”

He called, while speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), on Sunday “To have a representation to the woman among the nine Commissioners,” pointing out “The KA has accomplished progressive development in regard to drafting the elections law to confront the amendments of this law draft which were for the benefit of the sides that wish to postpone the elections.”

“There will be political pressures on the new board of Commissioners to expedite their procedures to start the elections,” he concluded.
