Human Rights Committee meets delegation of French Embassy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Human Rights Parliamentary Committee discussed the law draft of Freedom of Expression with a delegation from the French Embassy.

The head of the Committee, MP Saleem al-Jobouri, stated to IraqiNews.com “The Committee met the delegation of the French Embassy as they discussed the law draft of the Freedom of Expression and exchanged their views over this law.”

“Both sides reviewed problems that need to be solved in this respect,” he confirmed.

“We hosted the Supreme Central Committee of National Plan for Human Rights in addition to the heads of the specialized commissions to discuss the issue of the Human Rights in Iraq,” he concluded.
