62 Traffic accidents happens in Najaf last week

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Traffic Police Department in Najaf province declared that (62) traffic accidents took place in Najaf province during the last week.

The Media Director of Najaf Traffic Department, Qasem Merza, reported to IraqiNews.com that ”The Traffic Department recorded (62) traffic accidents during the last week which resulted in killing six persons and injuring (41) others.”

He added that ”The security plan applied in the province several days ago included closing the roads of the Old City which contributed in creating traffic jams in the main streets in Najaf province as well as closing some bridges near Ishreen Square and the Sadr Medical City.”

Merza pointed out that ”The traffic department implemented many procedures like preventing roaming of vehicles which have no official registration plate in the streets of the province.” \
