Former mosque’s preacher killed in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A former Imam of a mosque was killed due to an armed attack in eastern Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting (Alman Mohamed Ali Jasim) the former preacher of Al-Rezwani mosque while he was leaving his house in Zahraa neighborhood of eastern Mosul city the capital of Nineveh province.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack while the police transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue and launched an investigation over the incident.”
