Religious Authority Najafi calls Talabani

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Religious Authority, Bashir al-Najafi, called the President, Jalal Talabani, to check on his health condition.

Presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday cited “Talabani received a phone call from the Religious Authority, Bashir al-Najafi, to reassure on his health condition after returning from a medical trip to Germany.”

The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, has arrived in Sulaimaniyah on Thursday morning to meet Talabani after undergoing a medical operation on his knee in Germany.

The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki has visited the President, Jalal Talabani in Sulaimaniyah on Wednesday.

It is worth mentioning that Talabani has arrived in Sulaimaniyah on last Monday coming from Germany after undergoing his operation.
