Deputy speaker says better social security system needed

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Sheikh Khaled al-Atiya on Sunday said that he seeks to work out a better social security system in the country. The remark was made during his reception of a delegation comprising British parliamentarians, according to a statement received by IraqiNews.com. The meeting tackled means of boosting cooperation between the parliaments of both countries, the statement noted, adding that mechanisms for developing legislative work have also been discussed.
