Transport minister faces parliamentary questioning

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament began its session on Monday with its questioning of the minister of transport, whom it said declined to appear before a previous session to which he was summoned at the request of the integrity committee. The agenda of today’s session, presided over by Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, will include a vote on Iraq’s accession to the agreement on the establishment of the Islamic Committee of the International Crescent (ICIC), in addition to other draft laws, a parliamentary source told IraqiNews.com.
