Urgent – IA officer assassinated western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated an Iraqi Army officer using silenced weapons western Baghdad on Tuesday.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire from silenced weapons, targeting the IA Brigadier, Falih Karim Faris, who is working for the Military Engineering Department while he was driving his vehicle through Basra Street which connects Ghazaliya and Amiriya neighborhoods of western Baghdad.”

Security forces rushed into the area to search for the doers who fled to unknown location, and transfer the body of the dead Brigadier to the morgue, the source concluded.
