Talabani confers pact with EU ambassadors

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq Jalal Talabani on Monday conferred the Iraqi-U.S. security pact with the ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and Turkey in Iraq, according to a presidential release. “Talabani received the ambassadors today ,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com. “The meeting conferred a number of important axes pertained to the situation in Iraq, including the pact” it added. “It also discussed methods of dealing with pending issues in the country,” it noted.
