UNAMI, UNESCO denounce Anbar terrorist bombing

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Assistant Mission of Iraq UNAMI and UNESCO Organization condemned the suicide bombing that targeted a primary school in Anbar province which resulted in killing and injuring 12 pupils in the second day of the school year.

A statement by the UNAMI quoted the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Martin Kobler, as saying “We strongly denounce this outrageous crime which targeted poor children in the second day of the school year.”

For its part, UNESCO Organization mentioned on the lips of the Director of UNESCO Office in Iraq, Mohamed Jaleed, that “We extremely condemn this terrorist attack which targeted innocent pupils.”

It is worth to mention that a car bomb driven by a suicide bomber detonated on last Monday morning targeting a primary school in Heet district of western Anbar province.
