Fallujah Mayor survives assassination attempt

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Mayor of Fallujah city survived an assassination attempt eastern Ramadi.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “A bomb was emplaced on a road side near Fallujah General Hospital of eastern Ramadi city, exploded when the motorcade of the Mayor was passing nearby.”

“The explosion caused injuries to a guard among the protection force of the Mayor,” the source added, noting that “The injured guard was transported to hospital for treatment.”
