Minister says parliamentary questioning request “odd”

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of transport on Tuesday described the Parliament’s request for his questioning as “odd,” saying his ministry has made significant progress during his term in office. “The ministry’s revenues have increased by 50-70 percent,” Minister Aamer Abdeljabbar told IraqiNews.com. Yesterday, the Iraqi Parliament began its session with its questioning of the minister, whom it said declined to appear before a previous session to which he was summoned at the request of the integrity committee.
