Babel Health Department conducts inspection campaigns

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Health Control Cadre within Babel Health Department implemented inspecting campaigns for the markets and factories of food material.

The Ministry of Health reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”The Health Department of the province implemented more than (881) inspecting campaigns and visited shops selling food stuff and factories to manufacture food stuff during last August in addition to implementing health campaigns on the street vendors on the public markets.”

The statement added that ”The campaign resulted in seizing and destroying (2373) tons of various food stuff and (6501) liters of liquids which are expired and no longer suitable for human consumption.”

The statement continued saying that ”The Ministry of Health conducted the legal procedures against the violators of the instructions and regulations of the Ministry of Health.” \
