Nijaifi warns from consequences of regional crisis on Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament warned from the consequences of the current regional outrage on the Iraqi situation.

In his speech at the ceremony held to commemorate the assassination of the Late Mohammed Sadiq al-Sadr, held in Rasheed Hotel in the Iraqi Capital Baghdad, he said “Those who think we are away from the events in the region are mistaken, but we can avoid these events through taking care of the People through improving the political process and basic services and avoid sectarianism.”

“We are also demanded to sustain the principle of citizenship and preserve the constitution as the only resort,” he added, calling the officials to “Work together in order to overcome the crises through dialogue.”
