Weapons cache discovered in Mosul
Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested several wanted individuals on terrorism charges in eastern Mosul city.
Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that “A force of the Iraqi Army 2nd Division arrested six wanted individuals according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law.”
The source added “The force discovered a weapons cache comprising (16) Improvised Explosive Devices IEDs, 18 mortar shells and three grenades hidden in the left coast area of eastern Mosul city, the capital of Nineveh province.”
The source pointed out that ”The force seized several motorbikes which were improvised as explosives motor bikes and prepared to be detonated,” noting that “The weapons cache was lifted and transported to a security center.”
