Head of SIIC visits Najaf, religious authorities
Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, visited the religious authorities in Najaf province on Thursday.
Reliable source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday that “At his arrival this morning to Najaf province and paying a visit for the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) on Thursday afternoon, Hakim started a visit to the religious authorities in the province.”
The source added “Hakim visited Sheikh Mohammed Is’haq al-Fayadh to check on his health.”
“Hakim will visit the rest of the religious authorities respectively to discuss with them the general situation in Iraq and the region.”
