Babel Governor heads demonstration protesting offending Prophet Mohamed

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) A huge crowd headed by Babel Governor, Mohamed al-Masudi, organized demonstration protesting the Anti-Islam movie which offends the Prophet Mohamed (PBUH).

The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported on Friday that ”Several academic figures and members of the local government as well as Babel Governor participated in the demonstration which started from central Babel, heading towards the building of the governorate.”

He added that ”The demonstration demanded the Arab, Islamic and the international world to deplore such abuse acts and to coordinate to endorse a global law to prevent it,” noting that “The demonstrators chanted slogans that demand to punish the producers and promoters of the film.”

Several demonstrations were launched in Iraqi provinces protesting repeated offenses against the Prophet Mohamed (PBUH).
