Sadrist MP attributes escape of prisoners in Salah-il-Din to corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mushriq Naji, of al-Ahrar bloc attributed the escape of the prisoners from Tasfirat prison in Tikrit province to the financial and administrational corruption, calling the government to “Reform the governmental institutions and eliminate corruption.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday cited “It is very clear that what makes the terrorists to escape is not the General Amnesty law draft, but the corruption that is spread in the governmental institutions.”

“What happened in Tikrit province is a clear evidence of corruption where we call to eliminate corruption from the governmental institutions,” he concluded.
