Khuzai calls international community to support releasing Iraq from Seventh Chapter of UN’s Charter
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudhir al-Khuzai called the international community to support Iraq to be released from the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter, announcing the support of Iraq to the Conference of the UN over Eliminating the Nuclear Weapons, urging for an international prohibition for defaming the divine religions.
his speech in the 67th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations held in New York, he said “Iraq supports holding the Conference of the UN over Eliminating the Nuclear Weapons that will be held Finland on December in order to achieve practical results that eliminate possessing the nuclear weapons in the region,” pointing out “The failure of this conference will make the possession of the nuclear weapons very quick.”
“Based on the policy of the UN, we reject defaming any religion in the world in addition to the discrimination against the small communities, especially against the Muslims of Myanmar,” he added.
He called “The UN to support Iraq to be released from the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter that was caused by the foolish policy of the previous regime after occupying Kuwait because the justifications of this decision are over.”
