Parliament to investigate prisoners’ escape in Tikrit

Baghdad (AI N) The Iraqi parliament decided to form an investigation committee over the case of the prisoners’ escape from Tasfirat prison in Salah-il-Din province.

Parliamentary source reported to IraqiNews.com Saturday “The Deputy Speaker, Qusay al-Sihail, announced during the session of the Council of Saturday to form an investigation committee from the Security and Defense Committee in Parliament over the case of the Prisoners’ escape from Tikrit prison.”

“Sihail assured that forming the committee came upon the request from the Parliament Chairmanship in order to inform the Council about the results of the investigation,” the source added.
