MP shows concerns over Human Rights violations in Iraq
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, the member of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee criticized the file of the Human Rights in Iraq, expressing her concerns over the situation of the Human Rights, describing it as “A Danger threatens democracy.”
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday, she said “Violating the Human Rights after 2003 became in different types such as not providing services for the citizens and violating the constitution which calls to show equality among the Iraqi people.”
“Not granting the oil incomes to the provinces that produce oil is a violation to the rights of the Iraqi citizen according to the Article (112) of the constitution,” she added, noting that “Such violations and others like Woman Right and Oil and Gas law draft were discussed in the European Conference in Brussels.”
