Acting MoD meets his Iranian counterpart

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Acting Minister of Defense, Saadun al-Dulaimi, met his Iranian counterpart Ahmad Wahidi where the two sides discussed the means to develop of the bilateral relation in all military areas.

The Ministry of Defense reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that ”The two ministers discussed activating the memorandum of understanding which was previously signed between the Iraq and Iran in order to solve all pending issues.”

The statement added that ”The Iranian Minister of Defense has responded to an official invitation from Dulaimi who receiveed him with other senior officers ,” noting that “The guest was officially received in a ceremony held at the headquarter of the Ministry of Defense.”
