Maliki submits his financial interests to Integrity Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Integrity Committee received the financial interests of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, on Thursday.

A statement by the Integrity Committee received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday cited “Maliki submitted to the Integrity Committee a statement of his financial interests where the ratio of Council of Ministers’ response to the request of the Committee rose to (50%) after submitting the financial interests of the Deputy Premier, Hussein al-Shihristani.”

“The ratio of the response of the Presidency is (25%) where only the President, Jalal Talabani, submitted his financial interests,” the statement added.

“The ratio of the response of the parliament is about (23, 3 %) where 76 of the MPs out of 325 have submitted their financial interests to the Committee,” the statement concluded.
