Free Zone established in Babel province

Babel. Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Babel, Mohamed al-Masoudi, declared the establishment of a Free Zone in Babel province.

Masoudi reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The local government in Babel province has concluded an agreement with foreign companies in order to establish a Free Zone in Babel province.”

He added that ”The Provincial Council of Babel province endorsed the resolution of establishing the Free Zone,” stressing that ”This project will contribute in reducing the unemployment rate in the province.”

Babel province has announced concluding an agreement with German and American companies in order to establish commercial airport and the project of the Free Zone will be a complementary for the Airport project.” \
