Hakim criticizes weak services despite huge budgets

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, criticized “The weak services presented to the Iraqis despite the huge financial budgets of the State.”

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “While receiving a group of Chieftains and prominent figures of Bani Kaab tribe, Hakim assured that turning the competition from the personal interests of politicians into a competition over the people’s interests is a great achievement.”

“Hakim stressed the deep relations between the Iraqi tribes and Hakim’s family,” the statement added.

“Hakim emphasized the importance of the cooperation among the Iraqi community to reach success of the national project of the new Iraq,” the statement continued.

“For their part, the Chieftains conveyed the regards of their tribe members to Hakim as they presented their problems and the Iraqis’ concerns to him,” the statement concluded.
